RMS BOFFINS
There was an article in the Daily Telegraph this morning.
It seems that the boffins at the RMS are working on an automated driverless ute that will be able to brake for kangaroos.
Earlier this year the RMS announced that they're going to trial driverless buses.

Driverless buses, kangaroo dodging utes, and these people can't design a bracket to keep clearway signs up straight for more than three weeks.
This website catalogues my effort over three years to get the RMS to rethink the use of the exiting brackets that didn't work with the old white ones, and doesn't work with the new Hi-Vis yellow ones.

It's quite clear that the brackets don't seem to be able to keep the clearway signs up.

Above is one of a number of old white signs that were on display on King Georges Rd. Blakehurst.
It was replaced with the new yellow, and less than three weeks later it looked like this.
