It won't go away.
Talk back radio was on again today about school zones.
An NRMA report in the papers sparked renewed interest, and good on Ray Hadley for keeping the debate going.
Some of the information on 2GB was more detailed than what I read in my paper.
This story I don't think was the whole media release.
The survey doesn't say what percentage of these "speeding" drivers didn't realise that it was school zone time.
Maybe flashing lights would help.

Another news item (if correct) was that it appears that Telstra will shed 14,000 jobs when privatised, and mostly in regional areas. I can't see that with 14,000 less people that "service" can be maintained.
It will help the bottom line though.
