Tonight Mr Scouby of the pedestrian council said on "A Current Affair " that 10% of drivers on the road are disqualified.
I don't know if this is an accurate figure but if it's true, the demerit point system as a deterrent is not working.
Every day there is a story about someone who has been caught driving while disqualified, like the ST George league player last weekend.
If a child plays up you ground them.
If a driver plays up ground the car.

The RTA's policy is to put speed cameras in known black spots.
It appears that the speed camera signs on the yet to be opened M7 is jumping the gun a bit in the" known black spot" stakes.
After being harassed about it by 2GB it appears that "someone"at the RTA had made a mistake.
No doubt they will be severely counselled.
