Devious? First posted 10/10/07
In which direction have most of the "speeding" drivers been caught in Beverly Hills?
Were the RTA very tricky with these two speed cameras at Beverly Hills?
Here's a thought, on Captain Cook Drive Caringba there is a speed camera for the traffic heading toward Kurnell.

It is, as you can see not hard to spot and has three warning signs as you come up to it it.

No this is not one of the three warning signs for the camera above, but they are on the other side of the divided road at the same place and most drivers still slow down for them, even though there's no camera on that side.
......................................................................
Could it be that some regular drivers going through Beverly Hills saw the obvious prominant speed cameras heading north
.
and because they couldn't see the hidden South camera weren't going to be fooled by the trailer mounted warning sign and the variable speed camera signs, and slow down like the drivers at Caringba, and only realized their mistake once the fines started rolling in.
I parked my car after I saw the sensor markings in the road surface on the South side and only then, did I see, and photograph the hidden camera.

The black square (circled) is the lens of the camera which is mounted in front of a parking sign..................
Or is this camera also a red light camera?
If so why not on the other side?
What is needed at this school zone is a large school zone sign with flashing lights at Edgbaston st, and extra large 60 signs to show that this area is different from either side of the Beverly Hills shopping strip.
