Take that! First posted 15/10/07
Someone has "adjusted" the flash unit on the south side camera, and no it wasn't me, although the thought has crossed my mind, as being arrested and brought before a judge would get some media attention and I could ask the questionsin my e-mails, but I have family to consider.

The traffic was well behaved this morning and the cars that did go through over 40 kmh didn't trip the camera.
I've e-mailed the road minister again thus...

Dear Mr Roozendaal,
I first e-mailed you on September 4th and twice since then on Sept 13 and the 20th, it was in relation to a school zone at Beverly Hills.
When I first saw the speed cameras being installed at this location I predicted trouble and wrote about it on my website www.schoolzonesanta.com on 25/07/07
Being such a long school zone and having side streets entering it a repeater school zone sign with flashing lights would be of great help to remind drivers when it's school zone time on the south side. (there is already one on the other side.)
I have a newspaper article in which you state the drivers caught at Beverly Hills don't need to pay $110 to class action lawyers but can write to you for free.
I saw a problem, made a suggestion that I think would help, and have being ignored, would drivers that feel they have being unfairly fined at Beverly Hills and write to you be treated any differently?
There is still a need for a repeater flashing light sign on the south side of this school zone although I notice this morning that some one has "adjusted "the camera flash unit and that camera dosesn't work at the moment.
Drivers that don't obey road rules have to understand that there are concequences, but there has to be fairness and common sense.
Yours faithfully
Hans Stephens
