On the radio news today was the anouncement that the government was looking at the idea of wheel clamping the cars of hoons at their homes, and increasing the fine for hooning behaviour.
This wheel clamping idea I wrote about in "The P plate driver crisis" Category and not only hoons but drivers who are caught driving while disqualified.
Last week a footballer had the time of his diqulification increased to
2015 after being caught again, driving, and periodic detention.
Maybe having his car wheel clamped earier on, might have helped.
