What road users summit?
Has anyone read anything about the road users summit other than the larger fine for not keeping to the left?
What about the "P" plate drivers ?
School zones?
Or was it all too hard.
I emailed Mr Costa On the 22/2/04 about School zones and they going to "look at my issues and get back to me as soon as possible"
The email is back a couple of pages under "What are we doing?" (9/3/05)
I emailed his office again on 17/3/05

Dear Holly,
I Emailed Mr Costa last month and have as yet not had a reply to my issues. He did come out to personaly have a look at the school zone at Kogarah which was good, but I have great
misgivings about just moving the speed cameras, as suggested in the Leader Newspaper story.
The traffic congestion there, is just due to the sheer volumn of traffic not the school zone, made worse by the pedestrian lights at St Patrick's church and the South st traffic lights stopping the flow.
If flashing Lights aren't installed the drivers will speed up if the speed cameras are "moved" and if a student is injured or killed the media which has virtually ignored my protest would take great delight in blaming Ms Burton for lobbying and Mr Costa for listening and therefore somehow causing this tragedy.
I was there at school zone time this morning and unaware drivers were speeding through the zone (even in the rain .)
Kogarah school zone I suggest ,needs a safety fence along the eastern side of the highway and flashing lights and the cameras to detect and then double the fine of law breakers.
yours faithfully...

As yet I have not had a reply.
Is my letter so far off the mark?
Comments are welcome
