ROCKDALE MP John Flowers has been on a disability pension, reportedly for agoraphobia, a fear of open spaces.
And the Liberal Party knew Mr Flowers was on the pension when he ran for Parliament, but decided to wait to see if he won before acting on it.

The new Government yesterday changed the Superannuation Act to allow Mr Flowers to freeze his pension and remain in Parliament, avoiding a by-election.
