Out with the "old" and in with the new

Very expensive flashing lights were installed at the school zone on President Ave Gymea a few years ago.
Flashing is really a bad describtion because they didn't flash, rather they slowly went on .... off on ..... off.

"Flashing" too slowly to really attract attention.

So after the intitial cost and the yearly maintenance charges these ones were ripped out at Gymea on Thurs and replaced with more expensive ones, but at least the new ones will work.
