 Years ago I rang Alan Jones during his morning Radio show on 2GB just befor a Federal (or State)  Election. 

"I don't care who gets in on Saturday"  I said

"Oh, you must care" said Alan.

"I don't care who gets in" I repeated, "as long as they don't waste the money" 

How much money is wasted by State and Federal governments?

An example of this was on display at the then new Cronulla Railway Station staff carpark.

Nothing wrong having a carpark for staff, but a 30 space carpark surrounded by a 3 metre steel fence with 12 cctv security cameras.

And at one time a 24 hour security guard for this carpark.

Never more than 8 cars used the carpark (at one time,) and since then  the carpark has been halved and the public use the remaining spots.

Like I said waste on display, and so are the new HI-VIS clearway signs that the RMS put up on every 2nd lampost between Blakehurst and Sutherland on the Princes Highway

I wrote to the Leader at the time and other letter writers agreeed with my thoughts.
