I read in the Telegraph that the NRMA is going to have maps printed to show motorists how to get around the cross city tunnel tollway.
I sent this e-mail to the Telegraph.

I have written earlier about the NRMA not using it's millions of members
to make a legitimate point concerning motoring matters to our elected leaders.

Notice the the NRMA's Mr Evans didn't mention my "meeting of members "suggestion.

Why I've shown my letter here, is that residents of the Randwick council have been cranky about proposed parking meters for 8,000 spaces. They jumped up and down got a bit of publicity and, guess what.

"the residents were very concerned etc"--------that's a way of saying, what have we done?
I think the councillors were thinking ahead to the next council election.

Here's a few hundred people getting a result, just imagine if there were 200,000-300,000 in Macquarie to voice their disapproval on tolls or even demanding "flashing lights" at school zones to help save our kids.
