Obviously Mr Harris thinks this school zone/camera trap set up is quite OK.

Make a 1 klm section of a 3 lane divided ring road a school zone,
because there's a school at either end.

Then because there are flashing warning lights at either end, put in variable speed cameras at the bottom of the hill to punish people who,

(1) didn't read the RTA's notification of the cameras in the local papers because they live out of the area.

(2) Didn't realize that the whole 1 klm is a school zone and not a divided road (that pedestrians can't cross except at controlled points) through a shopping strip.

(3) came out of side streets or were distracted while waiting for sets of lights to change.

And this is ok?

Lets hope that Mr Harris never loses concentration when all the 60 speed cameras(I was told that number by an speed camera installer)are operational.

More unmarked Highway Patrol police cars are needed not more speed cameras, then you catch the bad drivers.
