It's not fair.
I read in the Sunday paper that there are now 5000 drivers in the class action.
This is terrible.
All these hoons racing down King Georges Rd endangering children.
I was having doubts about using my sign to try and help the RTA, but if I can slow just ONE car, it will help.
It's very easy to blame Mr Roozendaal, but the e-mails I sent him obviously haven't been passed on to him by staff.
I remember when a staff member chauffered the minister to town in his car and used a bus lane out Bondi way to get ahead of all the other, ordinary citizens, and poor Mr Roozendaal got the blame

The minister was otherwise occupied, engrossed even, reading documents from work (e-mails perhaps) and unfortuately didn't notice his driver taking liberties with the road rules.
I thought at the time that it was very unlucky for him that there was a photographer in a bus following the ministerial car, and as I get carsick if I read in a moving car, and also wondered what the minister's secret was

So to try and help at Beverly hill I've reworked this sign I had out earlier this year before the state election.

As you can see it stands out, and drivers this morning hopfully will notice and slow down, so that all the children will be safer walking to school.
I waved a sign for a month in the traffic at the Kogarah school zone (archives Feb 2006).
I hope it won't take this long for errant drivers to take the hint.
