Good news is not news.

On Wednesday morning I opened my Daily Telegraph to see how they reported the announcement yesterday that all NSW schools are to get flashing lights.

I didn't see anything that mentioned flashing lights.

I carefully scanned each page and after the massive amount of column inches the paper has devoted to stories about schools zones needing flashing lights,  on the bottom right hand corner of page 17  was this good news story, which you can see was'nt  too much bigger than a 50 cent coin.

                GOOD NEWS IS NOT  NEWS
