My request to the RTA for information under the FOI act concerning the Kogarah and Gymea school zones was confirmed by letter, and then I received a phone call last Friday to say it was being passed onto the Traffic Infringment department as the information I want is with them.

Meanwhile - the RTA is under fire from all sides.
Speed cameras being challenged in court, and the latest, is the cross city tunnel.
But look out the NRMA is coming to the motorists rescue.
They're going to print maps to show drivers a way around the tunnel, so you won't have to pay. Well not the Toll any way, I'm not too sure if the map will be free.
And the NRMA is asking for an urgent meeting with the RTA/GOV,no doubt to make submissions on their members behalf.
Instead of the NRMA making submissions,Oliver Twist style with "a please sir can I have some more?"style of meeting.
They should supply placards and banners and arrange a "meeting" with it's members in Macquarie St to talk about this government's road and traffic management.
With a bit of planning they would have a good turnout as motorists have more and more to be unhappy about.
If 10% of the NRMA's members turned up it would be noticed.
