The E-mail I sent to the paper about the Bangor bypass article in the Leader, was printed, although by adjusting my letter to make it fit, now looks a little like I'm having a go at the Police.

By leaving out the"one of the areas " it makes it appear that I'm saying all the 365 were on the bypass.
The Leader has always given me a fair say and helped with my School zone stand, but It's very easy to affect the tone and accuracy of a letter by missing a couple of words and shortening a sentence
I rang the Highway Patrol Sergeant in the Leader story and he understands
my reasoning for my comments.

I've said right along we need 3 times as many highway patrol and the new cars to be unmarked, to catch the bad.
