School Zone Santa .Com

I was asked this afternoon, by a young school boy egged on by his giggling mates.

I managed to slow down a lot of drivers in both morning and afternoon school zone times today.

Almost every time the traffic starts off again at the Morgan St traffic lights, the lead cars need my coaxing back down to 40.

This is a photo I took on the 10th Sept and shows cars coming down from the Morgan St lights, like lambs to the slaughter.
The camera "flashed" four times as they went past.

It could be that I had help from an unexpected source today in getting publicity for the cause, I should know more by about next Tues.

Another set of new speed cameras will cause grief when they become operational.

That's the speed cameras on both sides of The Kingsway Miranda (a divided road ) between Sylvania rd and Wandella road.

Fair enough a camera for the school kids at school zone time but I assume that they will the variable varity and to sting someone who might be doing 65 on this deserted divided road at 2.00 am, could be classed as a little harsh.

Of coure there's no such thing as safe speeding, but who hasn't edged over the limit on a deserted road?

i agree with you!! and your so right about being stressed when you receive those fines. i literally felt sick. after ten years driving ive never been booked and now i am in risk of losing my licence. i work two jobs to survive and pay a mortgage with interest rates rising every day. without my licence im screwed. i hope someone will listen to us!!
