« Welcome new visitors | Flashing lights do work » |
What a coincidence
The 3 non working school zone flashing light units on The Kingsway Miranda have been fixed.
The repairmen were just packing up the witches hats they had around their truck at the last one outside Westfield as I drove past at 3.00pm.
So the three faulty lights were mentioned on the Alan Jones Show on 2GB at 7.50 am and they are all fixed at 3.00 pm the same day.
Was it the back to base fault monitoring system, or an irate phone call from the road ministers office that did the trick?

Forget about fancy over-engineered solar powered, back to base, school zone flashing lights, that break down.
They will be too expensive to install and maintain at all schools.
Use simple bright orange lights, on the signs powered from the school, monitered by the school.
THINGS DON'T HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE TO WORK.
