Surprise surprise
By coincidence, after my Telegraph letter last Thursday,(see below) a reply to my four emails to the roads minister came by post today from Mr Roozendaal's office.
Even though the letter doesn't really says anything new.
It's a one and a half page letter, so I've had to put it up in three bits to make it fit.

My asking for an extra set of flashing lights has been "noted"
Don't "note" it do it, ring the RTA and tell them, that it could be a good idea.
The letter above quite clearly states that "it is an unusually long school zone", so if as the RTA says it is "unusually long" could there be a need for more, than the usual?
Why not an extra flashing light set at Edgbaston St., so that drivers while waiting for the lights to change at Morgan st can see them flashing, (at school zone time) and if they had forgotten, will slow down to 40k/ph and the children will be safer and everyones happy.

Also I see that there is a new posting today on the Beverly Hills forum.

We wish to advise all of our clients that we have been in contact with the RTA on a regular, if not daily basis, requesting updates to our representations. The RTA have advised that they are still going through our representations and have not made any formal determination. We are providing updates to our clients on a daily basis by phone and we are seeing clients at our office to answer any questions thay have regarding their matters.
Anyone who wishes to discuss their matters may contact our office on 9264 8884 for further updates or to arrange a time to come in and see a solicitor for an update and a conference.
We will be sending all of our clients a reporting letter as soon as we have heard back from the RTA. We are also providing updates on our website www.notguilty.com.au.
We appreciate that the delay is causing some individuals some concern and we wish to let everyone know that we are at their disposal to discuss these concerns at anytime.
We are continuing our fight and will continue to ensure that the public are aware of the appalling circumstances surrounding the issuing of these fines.
