
This photo is of the new expensive flashing lights that the RTA had installed,(on the left hand sign), at the Princes Highway Kogarah heading south late last year.
As you can see they are obscured by a row of young trees planted on the nature strip as part of a new unit block's landscaping.
On the 16/1/07 "where's the common sense", I did point out the stupidity of hidding them behind trees, and as the flashing light unit is solar powered, it could easily be placed on the wide centre median strip, in fact would be better there, as then the lights could be seen as far back as Park St.

No a better idea is to cut down the trees, who needs trees anyway.
