speed cameras are effective?
NSW Education Minister John Della Bosca lost his license after racking up seven speeding fines.
He told reporters, "I can report that speed cameras are effective"
Are they effective at slowing drivers down?
Only after being caught the seventh time it seems, in Mr Della Bosca's case.
He had been on a probationary license.
