Well he has a bit of a profile now and when I ring or write at least they know what I'm about.
The letters and e-mails I've sent and the promises made and the subsequent inaction has given me foundation to build on in the new year.

Before that the hanging of a drug courier in Singapore, which followed on from the model muslim convert with the ecstacy problem, and so on.
In this age of instant communication there is so much for the average person/voter to forget, but when the new school year starts in 2006 the problem of school zones will start again and I will help in my small way, to bring it to the fore.
Even years after 40 kmph zones were brought in drivers still haven't adjusted to them and this problem comes back every new school term to upset normal careful motorists/voters.
Every driver that "speeds" through a school zone, intentionaly or not is a potential threat to our school children and as the signs and road markings don't seem to work, maybe flashing lights and severe penalties for those drivers that think that rules don't apply to them.
