RTA boss carpeted
Mr Busby has to reapply for his job, is there any chance his appilcation will be rejected?
"Auditor-general Peter Achterstraat's investigation into the state's fixed and mobile "safety" cameras is also likely to bring big changes, Mr Stoner said.
"If he comes back to us and says 'Well, clearly this camera's got no impact on road safety' it's gone. And it will go somewhere that it does, or if they can't say where there's an alternative site, then its gone completely.""
A big call Mr Stoner
One of the pre election mantras was the intention to "rip out" any speed camera found to be inneffective and purely revenue raising.
The speed camera audit findings are coming out in the next few days, well in July anyway.
As the RTA has already said that some cameras are ineffective there should be no delay in announcing their removal, or relocation

The RTA has advised the NSW Government there are already some cameras it has targeted as ineffective and these will obviously be closely assessed in audit," Mr O'Farrell said
