Absurd is the word
July 29th 2018
Last week I drove through Blakehurst, and I noticed that on this section of King Georges Rd,the old white clearway signs havee now been upgradedto the new Hi-Vis yellow ones.
I noticed this new Hi-Vis yellow sign had a familiar lean that a lot of the new clearway signs adopt.
Today I went back and drove nearly to Stoney Creek Rd. along King Georges rd, and saw more examples of new clearway signs erected supposedly to "Australian Standard"
and the best ones were a couple in the next photo.
That's two in that photo are also on the droop. The brackets don't work with one fixing bolt.
When were these clearway signs erected?
to replace the old white ones, an example
of which is this one in South Hurstville,
taken earlier?????
Well I stopped at the shops on King Georges Rd South Hurstville. and asked two shop keepers,
"I have an un-usual question, but do you know when the new yellow clearway signs were put up?"
Both said two weeks ago.
The second lady added that someone came in to warn them that the clearway times have changed.
So this is an example of RMS contractors handiwork, after two weeks.
To be continued ......
an artist impression of how I feel
