RMS perfection.
I have commented before about the lack of common sense of the RTA (now the RMS)
EG- The school zone sign pictured here, I think would be more visable if placed a few metres further on, but I'm sure the paperwork would've
said, so many meters from the school, and if that's places it behind poles and traffic lights, so be it.
Common sense nowhere to be seen.
When they put flashing lights on this school zone sign they did move it to where I suggested.
That makes more sense doesn't it?
When the new garish clearway signs were first put up I emailed the Leader
The photo isn't clear but it shows the clearway signs fixed above the no standing signs on the South bound Tom Uglies bridge.
It appears that the blight on the streetscape those bright new yellow clearway signs maybe gone before we know it , they'll fall off
Numerous signs are now at jaunty angles, a good look for Melbourne Cup facinators, but not for newly erected road signs. The signs are fixed to a bracket with two bolts but the bracket is fixed to the power pole with only one bolt. So the sign can if not tightened enough pivot to unprofessional angles as pictured .
WHY NOT, NO BRACKET, BUT TWO SMALL COACH BOLTS, ONE AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE SIGN AND ONE BOTTOM CENTER ON WOODEN POWER POLES. AND FOR SIGNS ON STEEL POSTS INSTEAD OF COACH BOLTS ---- TEK SCREWS.
