Me Iemma said when asked about all the people being fined at Beverly Hills recently,

"Speeding in school zones is dangerous and reckless behavior which put the lives of our youngest and most fragile road users at unnecessary risk" (Newspaper clipping one page back)

What is the salary of the media person who wrote that for him?

Of course it's dangerous, so have appropriate school zones clearly marked with sensible reliable flashing lights, then put in a school zone time speed camera and jail any driver who still speeds.

Why have a .9 kilometer school zone on a divided road with a school at either end place a VARIABLE speed camera (one hidden)on both sides of the road on the bottom of a hill and then bludgeon everybody, in and out of school zone hours.

Why not at least have a repeater school zone sign at Edgbaston st with flashing lights to help south bound drivers, my argument all along.

Anyway what harm is there to do 70 through there at 3 am, as was possible before?

The only time you can get around in Sydney is late at night, or early in the morning because of the nightmarish traffic during the day.

It hasn't helped with things like someone selling off land designated for the M4 extension in the inner west, and then the there's the M6 extion from Sutherland.

Bit of a problem there, for common sense, it goes through the marginal seat of Labor member Mr Collier who hangs on by only a handful of votes.

The Miranda residents the live near the (planned for decades) M6 route and don't want it, keep him over the line.

I was at Beverly hills this morning but I was counting the number of drivers caught, without my help with my signs.

I counted 31 drivers clicked by the south camera this morning, between 8.00am-9.30am school zone time.

I might have a screw loose, to stand there and slow drivers before they are caught but the e-mails I've received from desperate drivers hit with a massive fine and are about to loose their license, every one I slow makes a difference.

Ask when they are going to put flashing lights on the school zone sign at Edgbaston st, and put in more larger 60 signs for non school zone times.
