I handed Mr. Michael Daley, (above ) the then Roads Minister in the NSW Labor Government, a copy of an email I had sent to his office which had not been replied to.
When I handed it to him he stepped back as if I was handing over a summons or something.
I explained what it was, and he read the email about my request for an extra set of flashing lights the Beverly Hills school zone on king Georges road he said
" I can't do anything about that" he said
and he was the Roads Minister
A later road Minister Mr Borger did take me seriously, and the extra flashing light set was added in Beverly Hills.
No wonder I've taken 3 years to get a bit of common sense in the clearway sign department.
Funnily enough Mr Daley is having another tilt a the leadership of the NSW Labor party
After my first email 3 years ago someone
should have said, he's right you know,
and done something then.
I have just rung (left a message)and texted the Clearway Director and asked her to ring me.
