Last week 2GB had a man from Foxtel on to tell everyone about the new "cheaper" plan that Foxtel now has.
Listeners were invited to call in with questions.
Big mistake,
Of the eight or so that came on air, all but one, were complaints.
"Why were there so many Ads?"
"Why are there so many repeats?"
"why don't we get 7 & 10?" ETC
I rang in and told the girl that I wanted to ask about the price,(in case she wouldn't let another complaint on) and when I was on air I did enquire about the cost and then in no uncertain manner let the Foxtel man and all the listeners know, that I was not impressed with the sales tactics used to get new subscibers.
I told him it was "Deception by omission" that they don't tell prospective customers that Foxtel digital doesn't have "free to air" 7 & 10.
We were talked into switching from Optus vision to Foxtel last year.
