Sorry for the late reply. Normally I do email/admin work on Mondays but since it was a public holiday last Monday, I had to work in the cafe all day and then just pay the wages at night and call it a day.

I've yet to get a reply back from Michelle Paduch and I doubt head office will reply back quickly either. Shaun and I are quite exhausted from all of this and doubt we have much fight left in us. Well, I know for a fact that Shaun has given up so I'm giving this my last go of it. Depending on what reply we get back will determine what I do next. Hopefully they will be decent about it and at least raise the amount from the lowly $22,500 that's been offered.

As for putting my email address on your website, yes that's fine although I don't know what I'll be able to do from then on in. If things don't go well I will put the letters up on our Facebook page and get our clientele write directly to Michelle.

This email is heartbreaking. You have been treated very badly. The fact that there is $56 million (and don’t think it won’t cost more) allowed for this project. I’m sure with the right sort of publicity you will get a much better outcome. First thing I would do is get all your customers to sign a petition to get you a fair deal . Also visitor’s book to record the happy diners that have been to Canopy Café. Can I put you email on my website and take it further. I see that you have just sent the emails so we do have to give them a bit of time to reply.
