This bit of Sydney's roadwork is back in the news again ,with the new boss of the tunnel (imported from Queensland) being called a F...wit by our Premier.

I heard the new boss interviewed on radio and he doesn't think there is a problem with the public fury of the traffic chaos because of the tunnel.

There was talk in the paper this morning of a secret plan to buy back the tunnel

I say don't use it, and they won't make money and they'll WANT to sell it.

Talk back radio was on about a "fire sale" and the Liberals when they get in, will renegotiate the cct contract.

The present government must wish all this would go away because we have our next state election next March, and the Lane Cove Tunnel is going to open, and it also has "tunnel funneling"and road narrowing and closures, coercing drivers to use the tunnel.

Maybe there might be "technical Problems" and the tunnel opening is delayed, coincidentaly, till after the poll.
