School Zone Santa .Com

Sorry about the improvised spacing, something's not working right....... Todays Sunday Telegraph's two page spread said it all....................... School zones as they are now don't work................................... .......................................................................... . .......................................................................... Mr Scully's (when he was road minister) office said that it was "inconclusive that flashing lights would work,in fact some drivers would speed up" ???!!!!............................................ Mr Costa ( when he was road minister) in an attempt to appease those that said that speed cameras were only a "revenue raiser",cut the fine nearly 40% and added an extra demerit point............................... All that this bit of brilliant thinking does,is make it cheaper to loose your license quicker and just adds thousands more to the number of unlicensed ,uninsured and unpunished drivers on the road.................. The office of Mr Tripodi (he is still the roads minister) told me that the findings of the "flashing light" trial were being assessed by an "independent company".................................................. That's 8 months of assessing so far, at how much an hour?................. Update 6/2/06 This morning's Telegraph tells me that Mr Costa wants the RTA to save $300 million and with all the other statewide problems that need money hospitals ,police,rail,etc (you name it), how do you pay for fancy over engineered School zone lights and maintain them
