Reading in the Sunday Telegraph about the number of state government projects that are way over budget and way behind schedule, hospitals, police stations,schools etc, I can't see a real serious "roll out" of flashing lights outside schools happening any time soon.
It appears NSW is nearly broke.
So when under media pressure say what is needed to shut them up, knowing that today's news and concerns, will be overtaken by the next "News story'
What is certain though, will be quick implementation of the promised 50 extra fixed and covert speed cameras to enforce the 40 kmh speed at schools, after the spate of accidents lately.
