I just saw a news item on TV and it appears an Adelaide company has won the tender to build 3 Air warfare destroyers
"The nations biggest and most complex defence project"
The winning company won because of their "Value for money bid"
This same company "built" ( and I use that word lightly) the Colins class submarines.

The cost stated is $6 billion.By the time they're finished I bet you can add on another $3 billion.

I know Defence is Commonwealth, but NSW has it's own little "collins class " projects.
The Mellenium train for example. How about those super trendy plasma screens at the train stations. hard to read and expensive.
What's the life expectancy of that technology?
How much is wasted on unnecessary whims?
