No more needs to be said
I took this photo as an example of what many of Sydney's old white clearway signs look like, put up using a bracket that doesn't work.
I used that photo along with an example of two newly installed Hi-Vis yellow signs in the Sutherland Shire numerous times in letters to higher powers over the last two and a half years
I said that the new signs are also not staying up straight
The bracket needs two fixing bolts
I was going to say " the idiots don't listen. But in all my phone calls and letters and emails I have been courteous, as usually the ones I contact are on the first rung on the Local Member's, the Road Minister's or The Premier's ladder.
It appears that the ones further up, are the ones that think that my concerns are not worth bothering about.
Who cares about crooked signs?
Have a close look at the next two
Yes it shows the old crooked white clearway sign, I have shown as an example many times have been replaced., with the new beaut HI- Vis yellow ones.
One does now have it's own post, and both have adopted the same familiar crooked stance.
And these obviously have been erected to the "Australian Standard"
The reason for a new steel post?
Maybe the rule says 100 meters between signs, and the power pole was 101.
Another example of lack of common sense

There was another silly look at Blakehurst where the RTA put up a flashing light school zone sign and no doubt the paperwork said "erect parallel to road way". Because the road bends at that intersection, the only people that could clearly see the flashing lights, are in Yum Cha restaurant
And these obviously have been erected to the "Australian Standard"
